I’m sympathetic to Jaws, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and whatever the names of the piranhas in Piranha 3D are. After all, we, humans, are in their aquatic home. This exact dispute was supposed to have been settled millions of years ago, when the Cavemen and Fish Gods decided that we get the land, and they get the sea (don’t check my history; it’s flawless).
Anyway, here’s a video of a spring breaker freaking out because there’s a manatee swimming around her. I’m on Team Manatee, and not just because she’s holding a selfie stick.
