Consider this your daily reminder to not selfie and drive. Two Iranian girls learned that the hard way when they got into a car accident, because the driver was too busy focusing on her friend’s phone and making heart shapes with her hand to, y’know, drive. It’s OK to emphatically sing along to everyone’s favorite Iranian pop song, “Ghorboni” by Saeed Shayesteh, which is basically the “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” of Iran (maybe?), but please look like an off-key doof while looking straight ahead, like everyone else.
