Why did the chicken cross the road? Perhaps it was the faint smell of artisanal cheese and craft beers that led one brave fowl to wander into the middle of a busy Portland street. Or maybe the promise of locally grown veggies?
Either way, an Oregon resident was forced to call non-emergency officials Monday evening because the slow-moving chicken in question was causing a bit of a traffic jam. Not as funny as those jokes, huh? Although responding officers were unable to apprehend the suspicious bird, they did save the audio from the original phone call and you can listen to it below in all its silliness.
