The first photo of the cast in-costume for X-Men: First Class was added to MSN earlier today then immediately pulled down, but not before we saved a copy of it. (In yo’ face, Bill Gates!) A larger photo is here.
Starting from left after Michael Fassbender as Magneto, that’s Rose Byrne as Dr. Moira McTaggart, January Jones as Emma Frost, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, the kid who plays the Beast as Beast (right), then Lucas Till as Havok, Zoe Kravitz as Angel (?), Mystique and of course James McAvoy as a be-haired Professor X. To clarify, this is Angel Salvadore (not the other Angel, obviously), Nicholas Hoult is playing Beast, and Mystique is being played by the awesome Jennifer Lawrence (who totally got robbed at the Golden Globes). Noticeably absent from the picture is Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw and a few other announced cast members. (More of the cast listed here.)
And I think I speak for everyone when I point at the photo below and say, “MOVE YOUR DAMN ARM, ROSE BYRNE!” She hears me. She’s just not listening. I’m going to put this photo in time out and make it think about what it’s done. And by “time out” I mean “Ufford‘s January Jones scrapbook”.
