'The Office' Intro Remixed With The Intro From 'Dallas'

Remember the CBS television drama/soap Dallas? It was all the rage back in the early 80s. Every now and then I’ll run across some hipster wearing a “Who Shot J.R.?” t-shirt — referencing a cliffhanger the show became famous for — and I’m convinced that if it were on the air today the show’s central character, J.R. Ewing, would be revered by the internet in the same way Don Draper is now.

I was a kid when it was on but I distinctly recall everyone in America watching that show (Remember, this was before the proliferation of cable TV channels, so options were limited). I can still vividly recall hearing the show’s intro music in my parent’s living room and I remember family members talking about it at holidays and others sorts of gatherings. It was, as Joe Biden would put it, a big f*cking deal.

So needless to say I find it pretty damn great that some genius on the internet came up with the bright idea of re-imagining the intro to The Office with the music and the style of the intro to Dallas. I don’t want to give anything away, but the bit near the end with Dwight made me lose it a bit. Enjoy.
