The Most Expensive House In America Will Cost You A Mere $190 Million

John Rudey is a seemingly busy man, as he has served as the chairman of the U.S. Timberlands Services Company for the last 21 years, and he’s also the CEO of Garrin Properties Holdings and the Inland Fiber Group. Oh, and he’s also the chairman, president and CEO of the American Forest Services. To put it simply, he has a lot on his plate. It would make sense that he doesn’t have a lot of time to travel between his multiple homes, so he recently sold his Fifth Avenue apartment in Manhattan for $16.5 million and his other home in Greenwich, Connecticut is also for sale.

That one is a little more expensive, though. About 12 times as much, to be more precise. Rudey and his wife have listed their Copper Beach Farm estate for sale at the very optimistic price of $190 million, and while I’ve heard the home buying market is getting better, this would be ridiculous.

Now before you scoff at the price, know that $190 million doesn’t just buy you a quaint little bungalow. You’re getting quite a few square feet with this purchase.

I believe the exact number is 13,519 Sq. Ft. on 50.5 acres. I’ve been told by people who are good at math that those are ridiculously large numbers. The home also comes with 12 bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and I believe that there is some waterfront access as well.

You can check out the rest of the photos of the home that you will never ever own at Realtor.com. Then you can visit my new Kickstarter to help me raise money to purchase this estate. For every donation above $10 million, I will write, “Thank you” on an 8×10 of Jaleel White as Steve Urkel.
