Earlier today, the Supreme Court ruled that the federal Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional, because it is. It’s a decision worth celebrating, but don’t forget about what happened last night in Texas, where Senator Wendy Davis filibustered for 13 hours to “prevent…a new law that would greatly restrict a woman’s ability to get an abortion from passing.”
