Arla Foods has launched a new ad campaign in England focusing on male milk drinkers, as the company’s brain trust believes that dairy products have been “manning down” in recent years. The solution to that is apparently to make milk commercials like beer commercials and have manly men doing macho men stuff like growing beards in forests while holding giant flamethrowers. Or an even bigger solution might be offering new milk products that contain roughly 40 percent more protein than your standard moo juice, because that’s exactly what Arla is doing.

Known as Wing-Co, this new chocolate milk brand is targeted specifically at men, with the slogan: “The manly chocolate milk for men with added man.” While that may sound a bit extreme and even a wee bit foolish, nothing even remotely compares to the fact that the company commissioned an actual coat to be made out of human male chest hair as a promotional item that you can buy.

It took designers up to 200 hours to weave together up to a million strands of hair.

Dairy firm Arla commissioned the coat to coincide with the launch of a new milk drink, Wing-co, aimed at men.

Despite promotional material featuring a model with a clean-shaven chest, the company said the coat represents a protest against the ‘manning-down’ of British men, particularly via emasculating fashion.

The coat can be yours for just £2,499. (Via Metro)

Unfortunately, I’m not sure who you have to contact to purchase the coat or if you can just buy it online, but I’m sure if you search hard enough, you’ll be able to find the answers. In the meantime, I’ve made this list of things that I would rather spend $3,800 on than a coat made from one million chest hairs:

1) Pretty much anything.
