Here’s The Set That Got Russell Brand Ejected From An Awards Show For Telling Nazi Jokes

Someone get the magazine industry a new coat, because Russell Brand has pushed ALL their buttons. This past Tuesday was the annual GQ Men of the Year Awards, and the English comedian was there to promote Hip to the Hop 2. He also received the Oracle Award, but instead of simply slurring unintelligible thank yous to Katy Perry’s vagina for five minutes, Brand used his time to discuss Hugo Boss, Nazis, and GQ, a.k.a. Genocide Quips.

The British comedian was thrown out of Tuesday’s after-party for the GQ Men of the Year Awards after making comments linking Hugo Boss, the event’s sponsor, to the Nazis during World War II.

“If anyone knows a bit about history and fashion, you know it was Hugo Boss who made uniforms for the Nazis…But they looked f*cking fantastic, let’s face it, while they were killing people on the basis of their religion and sexuality,” Brand [said] onstage.

Afterward, Brand was kicked out of the party by GQ‘s editor, Dylan Jones. (Via)

Brand then tweeted:

See Russell Brand and Kevin James in Nazi Tailor, coming 2015 to theaters near you.
