I’m not even kidding, I’ve watched this YouTube video, which features a Labrador Retriever named Charcoal playing with his favorite toy, a bucket, set to “Eye of the Tiger” two full times now. Not since the legendary internet masterpiece I Has A Bucket have we seen such an infatuation with a creature and its bucket companion.
But why does the bucket have no bottom? Here’s a bit of insight, from the brother of the Redditor who made the video for his mother’s birthday:
The bottom was actually cut out because he would do this for hours and hours, lugging gallon after gallon of water out of the pool, flooding the backyard and killing (even more) of the grass. Once the bottoms started getting cut out, he just started running faster though
And there you have it. If I’ve ever experienced even a single day of happiness in my life that captures the joy that this dog has in two-and-a-half minutes of playing with this bucket, then I consider it a life well worth lived.
