On Sunday night, the five remaining members of Monty Python took the stage at London’s O2 Arena for presumably their final live performance together. What was originally supposed to be a one-night event turned into 10 shows after the original event sold out in less than a minute, and eventually the other nine shows would sell out, because people couldn’t resist the chance to see Eric Idle, Michael Palin, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones in action for the first time in 30 years, and also for the last time. And even if you couldn’t make the trip to London, Sunday’s show was aired around the world so fans all over could laugh through their tears.

For the final song selection of their final show, the five men asked the audience to sing along to “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” from 1979’s Life of Brian, and the result was one great sing-along for the ages. Purse your lips and whistle along.
