Lindsay Lohan Claims She Handled Whitney Houston’s Body During Her Court Ordered Community Service

We’re just a couple of weeks out from Lindsay Lohan’s presumably disastrous 10-week West End debut, so the UK’s Telegraph did a lengthy piece on the upcoming Speed the Plow actress. The interview at some point moved into her personal life, because it’s Lindsay Lohan, and she revealed some information about her community service stint at the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office — which she was assigned for violating her probation from her DUI conviction.

At some point during her service which spanned from late 2011 to early 2012, which she says that she worked for four months with 12-hour shifts from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m., Lohan insinuated that she was tasked with handling Whitney Houston’s body bag — who died in February of 2012.

It was, as she puts it, “F’d up and inappropriate – because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: ‘No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can.’ It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston.”

“I know it sounds really dark and strange, but I thought it would be a lot worse. I kind of regulated a lot of it. I’d tell people: ‘You didn’t fold that sheet properly’, because I’m OCD with folding.”

Huh! That is pretty “f’ed up” and inappropriate. Especially since Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told the Los Angeles Times this back in October of 2011 when Linsday Lohan started her community service:

“She is not getting any special treatment. She’s going to be cleaning toilets, mopping floors and emptying the trash bins.”

Winter said she is one of about 15 to 20 people who perform this type of community service daily. She won’t be going near the autopsy rooms, he said. She will get a half-hour break for lunch that she must bring with her.

Hmmm, I don’t know you guys. Who do you think is lying here? Linsday Lohan or the Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner? Also, her sentence was technically only 120 hours, so if she was indeed working 12-hour shifts than she only technically had to work ten days over the span of four months. I can see how someone would definitely be promoted to celebrity body bag handler in that time frame.

UPDATE: Lohan was lying because of course she was.
