President Obama’s Version Of ‘Uptown Funk’ Is Too Hot (Hot Damn!)

Many feared that Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” couldn’t survive its affiliation with the Mortedcai trailer, but here we are still talking about and celebrating the very best version possible of the Michelle Pfeiffer name-checking ditty — the Barack Obama mashup version.

Created by noted masher-upper baracksdubs, the Presidential version of “Uptown Funk” is constructed by using bits and pieces from various Obama speeches, including Obama’s “I know because I won both of them” verbal suplex from the State of the Union, though I think that’s just there to up the President’s swagger score.

Previous baracksdubs joints include an Obama mashup of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and, coming soon, we’re all gonna get to hear the most powerful man in the world appropriately explain that the “haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate…” when Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” gets inadvertently enhanced by the President on February 9th. So mark your calendar.
