About a year and a half ago, Tom Arnold inadvertently started a Twitter feud with ex-wife Roseanne Barr when he tweeted an innocuous joke about dropping stuff off at Goodwill, including some of his old wedding videos. Obviously — obviously — Tom Arnold was not going to have random videos containing very personal moments floating around god knows where, but it didn’t stop Roseanne from unleashing her inner fury and raining down social media hell upon her former husband.

The two sparred online for hours until it abruptly ended with Roseanne paying a compliment to his baby in a seemingly genuine way, and for all anybody knew, that was that. But on the Howard Stern Show this morning, Tom Arnold recounted that bizarre fight and how not long after Roseanne sent him a text which led to a three hour phone call to discuss a script she needed to finish and give to NBC the next day. You know how it is between true old friends, no matter how long it’s been, you can still pick up and fight with each other or work on a script together like no amount of time has passed.

Anyway, I don’t want to ruin the end of the story (I’ll let him tell it), but the outcome of their script call was in true Roseanne fashion. And sadly, no, her pilot didn’t get picked up either.
