Meet The Zach Galifianakis Lookalike Who Makes A Living Pretending To Be Alan From ‘The Hangover’

The Elvis impersonation racket is as bloated and oversaturated as a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich. The real money in Las Vegas is in dressing up like Alan Garner, Zach Galifianakis’ character from The Hangover.

Just ask Thaddeus Kalinoski. After a series of failings, he packed his satchel and headed west. He now roams the strip and attends events in full Alan getup, and makes a living doing so. It’s quite an undertaking, as he recently told BroBible:

“In the beginning I didn’t care. Then I realized the better my act, the better I did with people. After a few months, I would go home and just have the movie running all day. Even if I wasn’t watching it, I would just listen to the lines, the quotes. I studied it, I’d rewind it, rewind it, listen to the quotes, listen to how he said it. And it works, people think I sound like him.”
