Meet The New Jersey Man Who Stole His OK Cupid Date’s Car

Online dating and dating apps can be a wonderful experience for some, and a horrifying nightmare for others. Consider the case of a south New Jersey woman whose car was stolen during her first date with a man in late February.

It sounds like any other romantic evening of fine wining and dining in New Jersey — a sports bar in a small south Jersey town called Atco, and a red 2007 Toyota Solara with custom tags that read “JSRYGRL”. The date, who identified himself as Gennaro Aladena of Atlantic City, convinced the woman to bring him back to her place. That’s when he stole the car.

However, according to the New York Daily News, that’s probably not his real name:

The suspect, who used the nickname “Gooch” and possibly the alias of Mike Rossman as well, is described as a smoker in his 50s, approximately 5’09” with a bald shaved head.

Sounds like a keeper, “JSRYGRL”. The Waterford Township Police Department suggests Rossman has ties in Atlantic City and Philadelphia, and could be hiding in either.
