You Could Own Burt Reynolds’s Personal ‘Smokey And The Bandit’ Car

When it comes to sex appealfacial hair, and being impersonatedBurt Reynolds is the best. While he’s had a great run, recent years have been tough financially. Hence the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of cinematic memorabilia like his personal custom Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey And The Bandit.

The description from Carlisle Auctions, who are conducting the sale on April 24 in Carlisle, Pa., reveal that Burt’s car is the final replica made of the 1977 film’s Pontiac Trans Am:

The project was undertaken with the agreement that this will be the last “Bandit” car built for Burt. As such, all efforts were put into this car to make it as authentic as possible.

The winning bidder will also receive an autographed cowboy hat and driving jacket, which are both essential items for driving muscle cars and evading local and state police*. So if you happen to have a few thousand dollars lying around, it might be worth the trip up to Pennsylvania.

*Please do not break the law or evade police, under any circumstances. Your mustache could not handle it.
