Millions Of Two-Inch Hornets Are Probably On Their Way To Kill You

Back in 2013, we reported that “gigantic murderous hornets,” I mean, “GIGANTIC MURDEROUS HORNETS,” killed 28 people and injured hundreds more in China. The threat quieted down, but it’s still around, like a shark circling a house over troubled water.

The same Asian Hornets that swept through China have since moved on to France, where they added six more casualties, and now they’re possibly flying to Britain by the million. Goodie.

Carolyne Liston, chairman of the Norfolk Beekeepers’ Association, warned Asian hornets are a “very, very aggressive predator” and said they could “come here on the wind.” She said: “They can absolutely decimate colonies and we are concerned that it is going to come in on someone’s caravan who has been travelling in France.” (Via)

Before wiping out humanity, they ransack bee colonies, killing every last Jerry Seinfeld, and then move in. Damn gentriDIEcation. All it takes is a “few” hornets to destroy “30,000 bees in just a couple of hours.” British ministers are so worried for a possible Black-and-Yellow Death that they’ve drawn up “battle plans.” So, yeah, nothing to see here. Move along.

Today, we are all Nicolas Cage.
