The Artist Behind The Scary Lucille Ball Statue Is Really Sorry And Wants To Fix It For Free

A horrific Lucille Ball statue has been terrorizing the quaint village of Celoron, New York and the artist is now offering to fix it for free. David Poulin created the 400-pound bronze nightmare and in a recent letter to THR, he admits it is “by far my most unsettling sculpture”:

“From the day of its installation,” Poulin continues, “I have shared my disappointment in the final outcome and have always believed it to be by far my most unsettling sculpture, not befitting of Lucy’s beauty or my ability as a sculptor. Yes, in retrospect, it should have never been cast in bronze and made public, and I take complete ownership of that poor decision.”

Regarding that “poor decision”, Poulin is offering to refurbish the statue at his own expense:

Poulin says he’ll be going back to the Village of Celoron to “offer to remove the current statue with the promise of creating a new beautiful and charming ‘Lucy’ in its place.”

In regards to the bronze Lucy beast from Hell, may I suggest placing her in one of those scary Halloween mazes in October? She’d probably be quite the hit!
