Netflix just released a teaser for their new holiday special A Very Murray Christmas. A year ago, we first brought you the news of this Bill Murray Christmas Special that was set to re-team Murray up with his Lost In Translation director Sofia Coppola. Described as a “homage to the classic variety show,” A Very Murray Christmas was written by Coppola, Murray and Mitch Glazer.
The special stars Murray as himself, as he worries that his TV show will fail when a terrible snowstorm hits New York City. Lo and behold, celebrity guests like Miley Cyrus, George Clooney, Maya Rudolph, and Amy Poehler arrive at the Carlyle hotel to show him support through song and dance.
A Very Murray Christmas is set to premiere on Netflix around the end of this year.
