Not content that Florida’s been taking the title for being “the most Florida” lately, one woman decided to bring a little bit of the sunshine state to Iowa, where she showed all her bits and pieces to a young and impressionable…lawnmower.
According to Death and Taxes, Tamara Zhane Harvey was drunk (thank god there was alcohol involved) at the time of her arrest for indecent exposure. No one yet knows what possessed her to disrobe in front of the lawnmower (although it may have been revving at her suggestively), but the description of the actual striptease is pretty heroic.
According to the Des Moines Register, Tamara Zhane Harvey (see mugshot) had intentionally ruined the character of landscaping equipment around 4 p.m. She had lifted her shirt and then pulled down her pants. Eyewitnesses said you could see everything, although KCCI-TV reported that she was wearing panties.
Harvey is 56; the lawnmower was not yet eighteen. She’s lucky she didn’t get hit with a charge of corrupting the youth, but it might have been the panty controversy that saved her. Harvey’s bail has been set at $300, which is criminally low if you ask me. How will we protect our gardening tools when she’s out walking the streets?
