Today, in really awful decisions made by adults, comes this story of a Virginia teacher who reportedly showed photos of her breasts and genitals to students. Unsurprisingly, she’s no longer with the school. According to The Smoking Gun, 34-year-old Melissa Kidd presented students with before and after pics of a recent “breast augmentation” on her iPhone.
“One juvenile victim additionally reported being shown nude photographs of Kidd’s breast and genital areas,” noted A.J. Cupp, a detective with the Newport News Police Department’s special victims unit.
Police initially searched Kidd’s phone in early April for the photos but the “data extraction did not garner all the contents.” As a result, a second warrant was obtained for a more in-depth extraction. Sounds like the photos were deleted.
Anyway, during the school’s investigation of the misconduct, Kidd flat out resigned her post and left. Probably wise.
