Remember To Be Safe When You’re Blowing Stuff Up For The 4th Of July

The 4th of July means a lot of different things to the people of America, as many citizens view it as an annual remembrance for those brave souls who fought and died for this nation to be free from the oppression of the British monarchy. Others, of course, treat this weekend as an excuse for a three-day orgy of meat, booze, and blowin’ sh*t up, because that’s what the forefathers were talkin’ ‘bout when they signed that document that Nic Cage stole. And then there’s everyone inbetween, people who just want to be lazy, sleep in, play golf, and maybe dress their dogs up as Uncle Sam.

Regardless of how you choose to celebrate your 4th of July weekend, remember that danger still lurks around every corner, from the annual “increased threat of terror attacks,” to your drunk bro Steve who keeps trying to put bottle rockets in your cat’s b-hole. Here with some important safety reminders for your holiday weekend are anchors Tom Storey and Briana Lane on today’s special episode of The Desk.
