A Drunk Man Tried To Dig Up His Dead Father So He Could Argue With Him

A 44-year-old Kentucky man was arrested after getting drunk, heading to the cemetery, and attempting to dig his deceased father out of his grave in order to have an argument. According to WAVE 3 News, Michael May had apparently been carrying quite the burden on his shoulders and felt the need to unload and get something off his chest. And it must have been a doozy because May’s father died in 1983.

The younger May, who was drunk when he was arrested at the cemetery, did not seem to elaborate on exactly what he was planning on arguing with his father about. But he did tell the arresting officers that his father died over 30 years ago. I have to say, I’m a little disappointed in the reporting on this because I want to know exactly what argument a grown, drunk man wanted to have with his long-dead father after almost 32 years of waiting. You’re the media. You had one job: telling a story. You have the who, what, where, and when, but what about the why? And no, merely saying he was there to have an argument is not enough. Not for anyone. Shame on you, WAVE 3 News. Shame on you. The world demands the full story, so I suggest an on-camera interview with Mr. Michael May and perhaps a skilled, reputable medium to help provide the other side of the argument.

May was charged with public intoxication, possession of marijuana, and violating a grave.

What kind of arguments do you think he has with the living?
