Dating on Tinder is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get. Also, there’s really only one or two good ones, and the rest are disgusting fruit-nougats and probably worth avoiding. That could have been a valuable life lesson to one Tinder user named Arianna, who managed to get herself tricked by a young man who seemed charming on the surface, but, in actuality, was stealing his entire online persona from Forrest Gump.
In a thread posted to Imgur, a 24-year-old man named Blake opened a profile on Tinder, then listed his hobbies as long-distance running, football, ping-pong, and shrimp fishing. He added that he’s just a young man trying to get over the devastating loss of his childhood sweetheart, who recently passed away from an undisclosed illness. He has one son, Blake, Jr., and he enjoys spending his weekends mowing his expansive lawn and making small talk with people at the bus stop.
He’s quite the charmer, this Blake, isn’t he? He may not be a smart man, but he knows what love is. One unsuspecting woman, who apparently has never seen the movie before, simply could not resist his charms, and opened a dialogue with our hero.
Poor Arianna. The Internet is too cruel a place for her.
