Everyone knows what dudes are looking for on Tinder (new friends), but what are the ladies looking for? Is it sex, or is it pizza? Is it an invitation to chill and watch Netflix?

Well, if you’re on the app and still clueless what someone means when they say “down for whatever,” Reddit’s got you covered. A recent post asked women what they were really looking for when they were swiping right and left, and the answer isn’t always sex. But, to be fair, the answer is sometimes sex. Which is good, right? If you’re into that sort of thing.

BroBible collected the best responses, and here are just some reasons the ladies are using the mobile app that allows you to reject strangers quickly and efficiently based only on their looks and ability to use “your” and “you’re” correctly.

A few were normal:

I am looking for a normal guy to date and see if it can turn into something. Maybe he won’t work, maybe he will become my best friend, only a regular sex friend, a boyfriend for a while, my future husband… who knows?

I know it can seem pretty weird but since there are normal girls like me on Tinder, that just don’t have the time and/or opportunity to meet new people, I guess there are normal guys on Tinder too.

Sex. Someone to smoke weed with.

someone to go down on me

A few were unique:

My friends and I decided we wanted to make a dick-a-day calendar for a friend who is getting married so we trolled it for dick pics.
I ended up with a boyfriend instead.

The love of an emotionally distant father.

And one is a real concern for people who aren’t Liam Neeson’s children:

I used Tinder during my summer abroad to practice my French with locals in Paris. I never met up with any of them though, because that’s how people get Taken.

While the good news is that some people are willing to meet up (in the hopes that you “look like your picture” and “can carry a conversation”), the bad news is that even with these responses, most of us will still be as confused as ever. But, if you want more information, there are more than ten thousand comments you can wade through in the actual post. Or you could just go back to swiping and hoping for the best.
