In 2013, 27-year-old Tatiane Valques was killed in a car accident.
To honor his wife’s memory, Rafael del Col recreated photos they had taken together with their daughter, Raisa. The clothing, the makeup, the hair — Raisa looks exactly like her late mother; she’s even wearing her jewelry. On his blog, Rafael, who’s found a new “beautiful girlfriend… sent from God,” wrote, “Shortly after I lost my wife, I was seeking help regarding early widowhood and also paternity without the presence of the mother and found almost nothing. Now, thank God, things are adjusting slowly, my daughter is well, and is growing, developing normally.”
Having an adorable dog helps with the grieving process, too. It always does.
