This Guy Filmed The Aftermath Of A Vicious 13-Foot Tiger Shark Attack

Going to say it right up front, the video below is extremely NSFW. You’ve been warned.

John Braxton was spearfishing off the coast of North Kohala, Hawaii on Sunday when he was attacked by a 13-foot tiger shark. In case you can’t picture what that looks like, because your mind is literally too afraid to conjure it, here you go. Unfortunately for Braxton, he didn’t catch the shark; the shark caught him in the leg, as reported by the Honolulu Star Advertiser, which should hire a reporter (preferably Karl Stefanovic) who only covers ocean attacks.

Hawaii Fire Department Battalion Chief Joseph Farias said firefighters reached the man near the 21-mile marker on Akoni Pule Highway as the man was in the back of a truck, traveling to meet with arriving firefighters.

Paramedics took the man to Kamehameha Park, where a fire helicopter picked him up and took him to North Hawaii Community Hospital in serious condition. (Via)

While bleeding profusely and being carried away in a stretcher, Braxton took out his phone and recorded what was happening, because Hawaiians gonna Hawaiian, brah.

Shark wounds are mosquito bites to them. One last warning: Not for the squeamish.
