Everybody’s favorite nut-shot-taking stunt clown and, more recently, animal-rights advocate Steve-O participated in a Reddit AMA on Tuesday evening to promote the taping of his upcoming comedy special and also upcoming month-long stint in jail. As you are probably aware, Steve-O is headed to the slammer for 30 days following a SeaWorld protest back in August in which he climbed a construction crane 100 feet into the air.
But for a guy with an impending jail sentence, everything else seems to be going pretty well for the Jackass star, who also mentions that he’s been sober since March 2008. Speaking of Jackass, that seems as good a place to start as any, as one Redditor asked about the possibility of a fourth installment to the franchise:
Is Jackass 4 happening? And when?
“If Bam can stay sober and healthy, I suppose it’s possible, but I think it’s unlikely. I’m working really hard to make my own movie happen, wish me luck!”
One commenter points out: “I know Bam was hit pretty hard by Ryan’s death, but I didn’t know he was ‘Steve-O says you need to get better’ bad.” However, it’s worth mentioning that Margera’s mother April recently announced that her son was three months sober thanks to the help of a VH1 therapy reality series. Whether he can maintain his newfound sobriety is another story.
Another commenter inquired about working with his long-time partner Chris Pontius in the future, which sounds more likely:

“I just got a voicemail from Chris’ management, they are trying to get us to do a new TV show together. That would be cool, I’ll call back on my way to go shoot for the opening sequence of my comedy special, which I need to leave for in about five minutes.”
Someone else asked about Steve-O’s famous “chicklet teeth”:
Why are your teeth so perfect?
“Because they are fake as hell.”
Steve-O also reassured us of the possibility of little Steve-O’s running around someday:
Are you still able to reproduce after all of the hits to the nuts you have taken like a champion? and what was your favorite hit to the nuts you have taken?
“I doubt if nut shots actually lower your sperm count (‘if it doesn’t kill you, it makes you stronger’ comes to mind), but I do think they increase your chances of getting testicular cancer, which makes me an idiot.”
And finally, some life advice:
If you can give any sort of life advice what would it be?
“Jack off with one hand, tickle your balls with the other.”
