Maybe it was hard for you to gather the will to get out of bed this morning because you were just so damn comfy. But consider Bei Bei, won’t you? Bei Bei is a 3-month-old baby giant panda at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and after three months of being on this planet, he finally took his first clumsy steps.
Three months of rolling around, getting carried by his mom, and just doing baby panda things. But Bei Bei knew that this was no way to make progress. It was time for the next step, so he took that very literally and began his life as an ambulatory organism.
