Fall is the most glorious season of the year, but it’s also a time when many of us are crunching through a yard full of leaves every time we leave the house. The prospect of raking or blowing all those tree droppings can be daunting, especially when one considers that the yard shall be full again after another week. The person who posted this video claims it was filmed in Canada, which is generally neck deep in leaves by now. One may wish to get inventive with the manner of leaf disposal, but this method is a highly dangerous bargain.
These guys — one of whom actually shouts, “Redneck!” — got the bright idea to dispose of their massive leaf pile by setting it on fire like a Wile E. Coyote stick of dynamite. Surely, they doused the leaves in some flammable substance before striking up a fire. The effect is almost immediate, and these guys are lucky for a few reasons: (1) They survived, and (2) they didn’t obliterate the surrounding several miles during the making of this video. After all was said and done, they likely filled some mason jars full of moonshine (okay, “swish”) and celebrated until their imaginary cows came home. These dudes don’t know how fortunate they are to be alive.
