More than 250 hikers are trapped on Japan’s Mount Ontake today after the volcano’s first eruption since 2007. Japanese news outlets are reporting at least one death, though it appears there could be several more. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe dispatched the army to save those hikers stranded in mountain lodges.
At least one hiker was able to record the eruption and the resulting plume of ash.
I guess I should stop giving found footage movies so much crap for being so fake with how stupid the camera guy would have to be not to put it down in an insane life threatening scenario.
Oh come on guys. Don’t be so harsh on the hiker. It’s not like a super hated cloud of ash is that dangerous. I mean Pompei got one and they are ok. In fact everybody rocks
Is he, is he dead?
Yeah. What is this? Volcano snuff film?
I feel like I just watched a lot of people die….
well 30 people did die… so yes.
