‘Assassin’s Creed IV’ Continues To Look Too Damn Good In The Latest, Lengthy Gameplay Video

A couple weeks ago we brought you a nice, meaty video walkthrough of Assassin’s Creed IV’s new open world, and it was pretty impressive! The game’s world looks far more seamless than the segmented, loading-screen packed world of Assassin’s Creed III.

Well, Ubisoft has just released another, even longer (as in, over 13-minutes) look at the world of Assassin’s Creed IV. Buckle you swashes and hit the jump for the video…

Yeah, I’m liking what I’m seeing — which is basically a slightly more realistic, more violent Wind Waker. Plus, come on, you can collect sea shanties and customize your ship’s sea shanty playlist! You can tell the Assassin’s Creed team is having a little more fun with this one.

Honestly, at this point I think the Assassin’s Creed name is actually a detriment to this game. At least it is for me. If this game were exactly the same, but called “Captain Hunky’s Buccaneer Adventure” I’d be all over it. As it is though, I just can’t help getting that “ehhh, no more Assassin’s Creed thanks” feeling, no matter how good this particular entry looks.
