What happened was A-Trak traveled down to the A in search of Lex Luger. A’s purpose was simple: find Lex and make music. “The way I see it, Lex is the architect of not only rap’s current sound but also what’s going on right now in electronic music,” A-Trak explained. “He’s a genius and he doesn’t get enough credit for that.”*

As the story goes, once the two producers did finally meet, it was musical kismet. Pleasantries were exchanged, followed by ideas and the next what happened was magical. The two beatsmiths locked themselves in the studio, armed with an iron will to create a joint project together. The spent countless days and nights locked in, subsisting on Kool-Aid and Nature’s Valley granola bars only. Over time, a kinship was born and so, Low Pros was formed.

From there, Lex started calling over his rapper friends to add their lyrical .02. There was Que, then they tracked down Travi$ Scott and somehow Juvenile even found his way to the lab. But one of the first people they called was Young Thug – because we already said Thugger was set to see a big 2014 unfold for him – and he happened to have PeeWee Longway tagging along with him.

The two duos came up for “Jack Tripper,” which can be streamed below. And there’s more to the story, and soon it will be told by a release on Fool’s Gold.

Update: A little birdie told me that Metro Boomin had a hand in the production of this track.
