Another holiday, another excellent viral video starring our president. To celebrate the year’s spookiest holiday (aside from Easter, which is also very spooky with the rabbits and the eggs and the chocolate hangover), Baracksdubs has gifted us with a short clip of Obama singing “Thriller.” Yeah, it’s an autotuned selection of clips taken from the president’s speeches, but there’s something that makes this video just a little more special than the dubs you’ve seen before it: Dat growl. Listen, I don’t know exactly where these people got enough footage of Obama making weird noises to turn it into a legitimately aggressive animal sound, but it’s totally worth it. And totally unexpected. In fact, it almost made me jump when I first heard it. But I’m particularly susceptible to being scared. Either way, it’s an enjoyable way to get into the spirit. Now if only we could get a video of him legitimately doing the “Thriller” dance….well, maybe once he’s out of office.
