This morning, Twitter reimagined great (the greatest, just tremendous) works of literature through a Donald Trump filter. It seems like only a week ago Twitter was imagining Donald Trump bluffing his way through book reports for things he hasn’t read (Oh, it was a week ago.) Now they’re back at it with #TrumpANovel.
The hastag started all the way back in December of last year in a tweet by sesquiotic, but it didn’t pick up steam until early Monday morning. You can tell it’s just getting started because nobody’s made a Mein Kampf joke as of this writing (Update: I spoke too soon). There were, however, plenty of “Gropes Of Wrath” references and the like. Here are some of our favorites.
