BET (& Judge Mathis) FAIL: Frankie On The Judge Mathis Show

Woooh Buddy… there’s no way anyone saw this coming.

BET managed to get Frankie on Judge Mathis’ show to promote her and Neffie’s reality show.  They’re obviously not saying it, it’s not that hard to figure out when you got Frankie walking down the courtroom aisle grinning like the Cheshire Cat.  Not to mention countless plugs for Deb Lee’s network, their show & Hennessy® (undoubtedly a show sponsor).

Basically, a promoter from Atlanta named Anotonia (pronounced Antonio) was suing Frankie for a breach on contract on club appearances by signing with other contracts, when he had “exclusive” access to her.  At first I thought Antonia was blowing smoke up Mathis’ ass (||) when he said he’d been in entertainment for years when he casually said he’d been involved with the group Freak Nasty and had sold 5 million records thanks to “Da Dip.” But a quick YouTube search brought up this forgotten gem from the late ’90s.  “Da Dip” was everywhere back in ’97 and it goes to show how hard the music industry as a whole has fallen if this song could fuel five million records sold, because I don’t think even Freak Nasty could name another Freak Nasty song.  Dude just tried to capitalize off of Frankie’s buzz and got sucked up, chewed up and spit out by Hurricane Frankie.

For anyone who doesn’t care to watch the 15-minute clip, dude lost.  The signatures he had on the contract didn’t match the one Frankie signed in person and on her license (but like Miss Info said, he should’ve had her sign while drunk).

Otherwise, push play and enjoy the spectacle that is Frankie.
