BOOTS – “My Heart Is A Stone Today (Unharmed)” x “Sheep/Lookin Muthafucka (Lude II)”

Good news for fans of BOOTS. Not only does the singer/producer apparently like to drop tracks in bundles, but he’s also announced that he’s got an upcoming project named WinterSpringSummerFall on the horizon.

“My Heart Is A Stone Today (Unharmed)” and “Sheep/Lookin Muthafucka (Lude II)” are really all over the spectrum in terms of influences and pieces, and that’s a good thing. It’s more than just singing and rapping, though, as he croons a chorus softly, includes some jazzy flourishments, and then has to start out “Sheep…” so ice cold with “Cats out the bag/no one remembers you.” Ouch! I love it!

Besides his two songs, he also produced a song for Kwane called “Into The Gray” that features an artist named Margot. The Internets have put together that BOOTS is actually Jordy Asher, but we know even less about those other two artists.

I’m sure BOOTS wouldn’t have it any other way.
