The Browns Are Reportedly Interested In Becoming Schiano Men

Not a full month after the football world got to celebrate Greg Schiano’s inglorious dismissal as head coach of the Buccaneers, it’s being reported that the sworn enemy of horseplay is the mystery candidate that was interviewed for the vacant Browns head coaching job. It was hard to conceive of the Browns coming up with a more depressing new coach than Josh McDaniels – who had to turn the team down – but, as always, the Factory of Sadness comes through.

The Browns were the last team with a bad MRSA outbreak prior to the Buccaneers so the franchise is well accustomed to the kind of despair Schiano can bring, not to mention 10+ loss seasons. Given Schiano’s history of depleting roster talent and handing it over to his hero, Bill Belichick, save to assume that if Schiano does get the job, he’ll hand over Josh Gordon to the Patriots for an autographed hoodie.

There is some hope, though. While another report corroborates that the Browns interviewed Schiano, Ian Rapoport’s source indicates that he won’t be hired by the team. So… rejoice? Or just don’t sink into further depression? Haha, just kidding, you’re Browns fans. Despair as much as you can.
