‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3’ Gets Painted Black In The Official Reveal Trailer

On the heels of Friday’s leak, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3  reveal trailer is here. The new release in the Call of Duty franchise looks to be set in a near-future world where cybernetic enhancements are very much a thing. As the trailer plays out, it becomes evident that the elite soldier being played is fitted with this advanced technology. The first trailer alluded to a little “Deus Ex” style action, and here we get further acknowledgement of that gameplay feature.

“Weapons don’t have instincts. Weapons don’t have loyalty. Weapons don’t have judgment. Soldiers do. What happens when the soldier becomes the weapon?”

Instead of answering that hypothetical question, the reveal trailer shows some awesome footage. It looks like players will have the option to use these technological enhancements to turn their arm into a minigun! Also, it looks like users will be able to remotely take over drones and pilot them with a first-person perspective. These cybernetic features feel reminiscent to the exoskeleton abilities in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. That ain’t a bad thing.

The 2-minute trailer doesn’t delve into the details regarding multiplayer mode, nor does it confirm the new four player co-op mode leaked earlier. Here’s hoping we’ll receive more information on those features soon.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will hit shelves worldwide on November 6th.
