A potentially scary situation was diffused at a Shreveport, Louisiana car wash last Wednesday by a quick-thinking man who used what he had on him to stop a would-be carjacking. Around 2 a.m., Michael Davis was washing his car when he was approached by a man with a gun who demanded that he hand over his money and car keys.
But Davis was not about to become a victim. Oh no, not this guy. Not that day. So with what I assume was liquid steel coursing through his veins, Davis looked at that carjacker and sprayed him right IN. THE. FACE.
“He said ‘give me your keys and your money,’ and I said ‘what’d you say?’ and I took the sprayer and just sprayed it right in his face,” recalled Michael Davis.
“I heard his friend try to run and get my backside so I turned around and sprayed him and hit him and they took off running,” recalled Davis, “The whole situation to me was almost surreal.”
Some may argue that it’s never worth it to fight back with an armed robber, but Davis had good reason not to give up his keys. His brother was sitting in the car, watching the whole thing go down.
“If they would’ve taken my keys and my money, they probably would have shot me anyway, plus I had my disabled veteran brother in the car, they could’ve done something to him as well,” said Davis.
