When little baby Shawn was still in his mother’s womb, momma — Liel Ainmar Assayag — noticed somethings speCATular: two-and-a-half year old Panda would snuggle next to his human’s pregnant belly, protecting and coddling the bun in the oven. Before Shawn was introduced to the world, he already had a feline protector, one that would love him unconditionally.
While cats are known to be somewhat a pack of jerks who hate desk ornaments and belly tickles, Panda is quite the opposite — he loves his little buddy Shawn, and Momma Liel has documented on her Facebook page the unrequited love affair that the two little creatures have for each other. Panda is so protective of Shawn, that when he cries, Panda does his best to wake Momma up.
Out of the womb and doing his best to do baby stuff, Panda routinely snuggles up to his little human companion, providing him warmth, affection, and likely, the secrets to immortality. (You know, with the whole nine lives thing and all.)
It remains to be seen just how far baby Shawn and cat Panda’s relationship will go, but all bets are on the two learning to count cards together, traveling the World Series of Poker circuit, and becoming billionaires. Because, real life is a fairy tale, folks, and this story proves it.
