Undisputed American treasure Betty White feels completely torn up after Cecil the Lion‘s sad death at the hands of dentist Walter Palmer. Betty spoke up while promoting her new Discovery Channel programming block, Pawgust, which will be a full month of Betty hosting shows about animals. As a wildlife activist, Betty can’t stand the thought of how Cecil suffered for 40 hours before White finished him off with a gun. Betty frowns upon the dentist’s actions, and the internet’s grandma has harsh words for Palmer:
“You don’t want to hear some of the things I want to do to that man.
“It’s such a heartbreaker. You can’t even talk about it, and to see this king of the jungle and personifying it in every way, this gorgeous creature. How can somebody do that?”
The general public would love to see Betty White get up in Walter Palmer’s face and tell him exactly what she thinks. Violence should never function as a solution to violence, but Betty shaking her finger in the guy’s face and making use of a well-placed high heel? This would be a sight to see. Betty could also teach a lesson to Ted Nugent while she’s on fire.
