Oh my god, are you seeing this? It’s a firecracker chemical plant in China and, according to Death and Taxes, over 100 firefighters were dispatched to the scene after it exploded in a fireball bigger than any fireworks show you’ve ever seen. (Yes, even that one time when San Diego accidentally set off all its fireworks at once.)
The fire happened early Thursday morning and it’s not yet clear whether anyone was injured. It’s hard not to be terrified (and a little bit amazed?), though, even staring at it from the safe distance of your computer screen.
