The lawsuits stemming from the big Drake-Chris Brown fight last summer just keep on coming. This time, it’s Chris Brown’s bodyguard Patrick Strickland who is getting in on the action.

According to the lawsuit filed against Drake, the source of the 2012 altercation was a note Drizzy sent to Chris that read, “I am f*cking the love of your life.” The vindictive note was in reference to the now-dissolved love triangle between the two singers and entertainer Rihanna. Shortly after, a fight broke out that resulted in the 43-year-old being smashed in the head with a champagne bottle. The attack left Strickland with “severe and disfiguring injuries to his face, head and eyes.”

Strickland is also suing the W.I.P. nightclub for unspecified damages for creating a hostile environment by over-serving Drizzy and sitting the two feuding crews so close to one another.
