Comedian Kurt Braunohler Hired A Skywriter For An Inspired Prank

Some Kickstarters are better than others. We still have our reservations about giving Zach Braff money for Garden State 2: The Yearning, but $4,000 for a skywriting prank in downtown Los Angeles? $$$ WELL SPENT. That’s the amount comedian Kurt Braunohler, best known for hosting the dearly departed game show Bunk and his podcast The K Ohle, asked for to, in his words, “hire a man in a plane to write stupid things with clouds in the sky.”

Fans of the stunt pledged $6,820. Here’s what their money got them.

Worth it.
