Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Updates Fans After Taking A Scary Fall Off Stage

Earlier in June, Corey Taylor and Slipknot had to delay multiple concerts in their co-headlining tour with Marilyn Manson after the Slipknot lead singer underwent unplanned spinal surgery. Weeks later, after the singer told fans on social media that he was “recovering nicely” and then made it known that they’d be back on stage and at full strength on June 28th in Nashville. The next night in Atlanta, while in a neck brace, Taylor seemed to forget that he was recovering from spinal surgery, hopped on something on stage and went head over heels to the ground.

The next night in Atlanta, while in a neck brace, Taylor seemed to forget that he was recovering from spinal surgery, hopped on something on stage and went head over heels to the ground, landing hard. If you just had the video to go buy, you’d think Slipknot’s 2016 tour was done after two shows in the south. Taylor got up slowly, with various members of the band and crew rushing to his aid. The guy, after all, just took a nose dive onto the stage after his spine was just delicately operated on, so yeah.

Luckily, Taylor is used to beating himself up on stage, and landed on his leg and arm. He’s fine, just a little stiff.

And now we return to our regularly scheduled, Trump-bashing, masked multi-drummer metal band.
