This is just unfair. The leaves are turning, sweaters are getting brought out of the closet, and football’s in the air. In a vacuum, these cold weather rituals can be seen in a very favorable light (yay, football!), but then Daft Punk comes out with their latest video, and I dive into a summer nostalgia tailspin.

The visuals for “Lose Yourself To Dance” are handled with the same retro touch that the majority of Random Access Memories was crafted with. The kind of music that our parents were probably freaking to, the sound was one of the most enjoyable parts of summer 2013. And while it can still be enjoyed at whatever club or party you frequent this fall, I’ll always associate the album’s warm, disco-sounding embrace with June, July and August.

Consider this video a farewell to summer 2013. It was a good run.
