Demi Lovato’s latest album promotion cycle continues to be comedy gold. A few weeks ago, she brought up, of her own accord, the most outlandish rumor spread about her–that she flicked a fan in the vagina and called her fat. Now, she’s flubbed the response to a simple question during an interview with Berlin’s NRJ radio station.
According to the video above, captured by intrepid Lovatic @dexxmetria, when the reporter asks, “And your favorite dish?” Lovato replies, “My favorite dish…I like mugs because they’re very comfortable in your hand, and they hold hot things that you don’t have to touch. So, um, you know, coffee and hot tea.”
Was that last sentence an attempt to save her answer when she realized what the reporter really meant? Either way, this might be the most unintentionally hilarious answer in the history of usually boring, by-the-numbers celebrity promotional tours.

As the Daily Edge points out, this last tweet riffs on that Miss Congeniality joke, where the sweet but ditzy Miss Rhode Island describes her favorite date as April 25th, because all you need is a light jacket.
