Do You Ever Go For All The Achievements In a Game?

Whenever you buy a new game, it’s always there, in the back of your head. Every time you see one, you think, “Hmmm, could I really collect all of them?”

We’re talking about achievements, of course. Granted, if you play modern video games, you’ll collect a few whether you want them or not. In the course of playing the game, you’ll trigger some cut scene, or stumble across some collectibles, or just kill a bunch of enemies and suddenly you’ll hear a little sound and something will pop up.

There are, of course, people just obsessed with collecting achievements at the cost of everything, but we’re more interested in the day to day gamer. Do you care about achievements? If you’re done with a game, will you go back just to try and get a few more? Or is it just something you ignore while playing?
